City models

City model is a medium to high resolution database for use in detailed and accurate network design in urban environment.

City model dataset consists of up-to-date and highly accurate terrain (DTM/DEM), clutter, vectors, text labels, orthoimagery.

All layers can be customized according to client’s needs.

City surroundings and satellite towns can be added to city model.

Option 1. Improved city modelThe sources are:
• Topographic maps with scale 1:10 000 or 1:25 000
• Satellite images: IRS, SPOT with 5-6 m resolution, IKONOS or QuickBird with 1 m resolution (for densely populated areas)
The cell size of data model is 10 x 10 m or 20 х 20 m

Option 2. Standard city model
The sources are:
• Topographic maps with scale 1:50 000
• Satellite images: IRS, SPOT with 5-6 m resolution
The cell size of data model is 20 х 20 m
